Today Cam had his first soccer practice. I don't know who was more excited, him or Steve! I think Cam was the youngest but he did great. Some of the other kids cried when their parents left the field and Cam just kinda stared at them like they were nuts! He didn't follow directions all the time but he did well. Steve went out on the field with him to help. They did a few drills where they kicked the ball to one end of the field and then raced back, they did some fun things where they touched the ball with every body part except for their hands. Cam brought his ball and did not let it out of his sight! The 45 minutes seemed like 5 hours to me but Cam didn't want to leave. Next week will be rough when it's me but hopefully he'll be able to listen to the Coach. Daddy has high hopes for his soccer career!
